Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced Java developer to join our dynamic team at Western Governors University (WGU) account. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in software development/Maintenance and a passion for leveraging modern technologies to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming, environment management, team collaboration, vulnerability scanning and ready to work with client agreed timings. Detailed JD as below.
Basic requirement and process:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• >3 years of relevant development experience is a MUST
• Multiple levels of DXC screening would be proceeded with java real time coding checks
• Should be able to support client over the agreed hours on a regular business day 8 AM MST till 5 PM MST
• Excellent English written and oral communication.
• Must be legally authorized to work - Only Greencard and Citizens
Primary Skills - Mandatory:
JAVA full stack development, Springboot, Angular, Node JS, JavaScript , Oracle and mysql DB
Secondary Skills:
Java API, RESTFul Webservices, Devops, Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge, Dynatrace, ServiceNOW or any incident management tools knowledge
Good to have:
• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features is an added advantage.
• Maintain documentation for software design, code, and operations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to incorporate into development practices.
