Dayshape Strategic Business Analyst- Remote Eligible (rsm)

The Strategic Business Analyst is responsible for developing a deep understanding of the business vision, goals, and needs for the Dayshape program. This role involves providing business and technical support to internal teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the Dayshape platform. The analyst will proactively monitor and review integration logs, support data issues, test new product enhancements, and deliver excellent customer service.
Essential Duties:
Strategic Business Analysis Planning & Execution:
- Lead enterprise analysis activities.
- Participate in product road mapping activities.
- Provide strategic recommendations for current and upcoming work product.
- Assist product owners and managers with backlog management.
Agile Business Analysis Planning & Execution:
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions.

- Develop supporting documentation when applicable, including state flow diagrams and data mapping.
- Work independently and with Product Designers to develop user interface design.
- Collaborate with technical and QA teams to size and validate user stories.
Community of Practice Support & Process Improvement:
- Ensure RMO Community of Practice Standards are being followed.
- Promote agile adoption and understanding.
- Offer team insights and process improvement ideas to community of practice leaders.
Dayshape Platform Support:
- Daily review of integration logs between Dayshape and Workday to ensure successful integration syncs.
- Initial triage of any errors discovered in integration syncs.
- Provide supplemental support for data mapping and requirements for product enhancements.
- Support testing and deployment of functionality through new product enhancements.
- Support regression testing activities for any changes to integrated systems (Workday).
- Maintain repository of manual upload files (Users, Subfunctions, Cost Rates, Skills, Natural Working Teams).
- Maintenance and migration of Unlinked projects to Linked projects (in support of Sys Admin).
- Maintain Users and User Groups (in support of Sys Admin).
- Weekly review of trouble tickets with Product Lead and RMO Leadership for escalation.
- Monitor support metrics, as determined by Product Owner/Lead.
- Update Product Support process and procedures documentation as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Visio, with advanced skills in Excel preferred
- Ability to analyze and document backend system information such as data mapping and microservice components.
- Knowledge of defect tracking processes and tools
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO JOB
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels
- Strong knowledge of basic and advanced business analysis techniques and strategies.
- Strong knowledge of product design and user experience design concepts.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability.
- Good communication skills both written and spoken.
- Ability to prioritize across many projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work across time zones, adjusting hours on occasion as needed
- Strong attention to detail, motivation, and initiative.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 8 years of business analysis experience working in a development environment
- Knowledge of product management concepts and how enterprise software products are positioned and developed.
- Experience working with 3rd party and vendor relationships.
- Experience with both structured and object oriented analysis techniques.
- Proven experience in operational business process improvement.
- Experience working with scheduling, workforce planning, or other professional services automation tools
MANAGEMENT
- Experience in a supervisory role for a small team of BA resources for the coordinated delivery of large or complex projects.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Dayshape
- Experience with Workday, especially Projects and Resource Management
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Agile Analyst Certification (AAC)
- Professional services experience.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and other tools supporting fact based decisions.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $111,200 - $190,300Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
