Job Description

Part-Time Lecturer for EE4523 Power Engineering Design

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part Time Lecturer for Power Engineering Design.

The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate core course commencing in August 2025.

This 13-week course is a final year level course for Year 4 undergraduates with the
objective of introducing students to the basic principles and procedure

for the design and assessment of low-voltage and high tension distribution networks. The course also aims to provide a platform to apply the knowledge acquired on power system protection to solve some realistic protection problems in power distribution systems, while taking into consideration the relevant industrial standards.

The successful candidate should have at least a Bachelors Degree in Electrical
Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer. Past teaching experience in a similar subject at Undergraduate Level is preferred.
