What you get to do:
The Wardrobe Supervisor will oversee the daily operation to assign Ambassador uniforms, ID badges, etc. The position will lead a team of Wardrobe attendants, monitor inventory, budget, etc. Ensure that ambassadors follow the appropriate uniform standards while working.

  • Direct, and oversee daily wardrobe operations.
  • Effectively coach, document, mentor, direct, and evaluate performance of front-line team.
  • Manage inventory levels for all wardrobe items.
  • Enthusiastically evaluate processes to find efficiencies.
  • Coordinate hiring and development of wardrobe ambassadors.
  • Delegate work as appropriate, and foster an environment of accountability with frontline team.
  • Coordinate with external resource when necessary i.e. embroidery .
  • Manage and participate in uniform fittings to ensure professional appearance.
  • Manage and participate in distribution of uniforms, IDs, nametags.
  • Assess quality of wardrobe product, and seek ambassador feedback.
  • Actively participate in financial aspects of the area: labor and expense budgets, budget forecasting, tracking, capitol funds, and procurement.
  • Produces, and maintains accurate documentation.
  • Maintains a professional environment through respect of sensitive information.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with ambassadors, peers, and leadership across all park departments.
  • Ensure safe work practices are being followed in the area.
  • Ensure excellent guest service for the parks internal customers.
  • Maintains cleanliness standards to include storage, laundry, and appropriate disposal of items.
  • Maintains a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed.


What it takes to succeed:

  • Associates Degree preferred

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have and maintain a valid CA Driver’s license; visiting students and military must have a valid license from state of residency and able to provide a DMV report.
  • Must be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of computer-based resources, including Microsoft office.
  • Familiarity of Park related programs such as SAP, Concur, Kronos, etc.
  • Must be able to read and interpret financial reports- (expense, labor)
  • Able to positively interact with guests, co-workers, and vendors of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
     

What else is important: 

  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
  • Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities

  • Building and Construction — Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
  • Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Compensation: 19.00 USD Hourly
